At Macro, our main objectives are to provide a safe and healthy workplace for our employees, protect the environment, and deliver our clients with on-time and on-budget projects which meet their expected level of quality. As such, we have developed and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) which aligns with industry best practices and complies with all regulatory requirements under the scope of our business operations.
Since the inception of our Company in 1994, Macro’s Senior Management Team (SMT) has been committed to a culture of quality excellence through continual improvement. Naturally, this commitment has resulted in an evolution of our QMS, which today, is comprised of well-structured documented information consisting of policies, program manuals, procedures, plans, and records. To ensure we are achieving effective quality management, our QMS has been aligned with the ISO 9001 standard and is implemented utilizing the seven quality management principles (see below). ISO 9001 is internationally recognized as the best-known quality management standard in the world and enables us to continually measure ourselves against the “gold standard”.
Our QMS is implemented using a process approach (i.e. PDCA cycle, risk-based thinking) to ensure that our work is proactively planned, executed, inspected/tested, and continually improved with the end goal of our client’s being satisfied with the quality, reliability, and sustainability of the projects in which we deliver. We always aim to do things right the first time, every time, but when things do not go as planned, we use it as an opportunity to learn and improve.
