About Us

Macro is an oil and gas industry specialist in pipeline and facility construction and maintenance providing infrastructure development to the oil and gas construction market.

Its construction services are focused on pipeline systems and include gathering, processing, transmission, storage and distribution.

They maintain various facilities for fabrication, equipment maintenance, trucking, equipment storage and warehouse storage. These facilities are strategically located to support projects and clients in the most efficient and cost effective manner.

Macro is a market leader with a good reputation and many long standing relationships with large oil and gas producers in northern British Columbia and Alberta.  They have participated in the development of the infrastructure related to significant discoveries, and will allow them access to future projects like the Mackenzie Valley and Alaska pipeline.


Macro Industries

Macro Industries was founded in 1994 by Frank Miles and Mark Dodge to provide pipeline and facilities construction and maintenance services to companies in the oil and gas industry in northeastern British Columbia and northwestern Alberta. 

In 2012, Macro Industries acquired a pipeline construction business from North American Construction Group Inc. This acquisition complemented their existing resources and capabilities, and positioned Macro to take on additional pipeline construction, maintenance and facility projects.

Macro is able to execute the most technically and environmentally challenging projects – safely, on-time and on-budget.


Macro Enterprises

Macro Enterprises was founded in 2006 and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol MCR.V. Macro Enterprises was created to oversee the operations of Macro Industries and to provide a platform for future growth both organically and through acquisitions. 

Macro’s strategy has been to expand its services to become a more diversified service provider, enabling it to gain larger percentages of revenues from each phase of a construction, maintenance, or turnaround projects and for continued organic growth.
